Very charming hotel in the heart of the old town. Very fairly priced and the staff was welcoming and friendly.

It was very close to the old town but outside the old wall & so not too busy & it was quiet.
Our room looked lovely but was a bit cool & we had to use an electric radiator because the radiators couldn’t be put on at the time of year we visited.

Location in the old town was perfect as it was walkable everywhere including to the ferry terminal for Helsinki.
No kettle in the room. Have to climb down 1 flight of stairs each time I need hot water. Not much interaction with staff as opening hours of Reception were short and everything is done online. Pillow was too soft, no support at all.

The location.
The inside of the hotel is really nice and whimsical.
Nice back porch, good kitchen access if you want to prep your own food.
There is no staff at the front desk after certain hour, which is ok until you need assistance. Drunk Russians decided to have a party at the front hotel door in evening, loud, obnoxious, left after I screamed out of the window. Hence, the front desk would be helpful.
The breakfast attendant is more interested in her cellphone rather than guests.
There is an ungodly amount of black mold in the shower.
No AC so please think twice if you want to stay at this hotel during the summer months.
