The property was great. Huge airy rooms very comfortable. Short walk straight into the city centre.
We stopped in the bar/cafe for a light supper. My food was inedible, it was so bad. No one came to check all was ok. I tried to find someone to complain to, but that was impossible!! Reported my disappointment at reception the following morning and got a shrug. Such a shame as everything else was excellent.

The hotel was beautiful and the views were stunning.
We were not told that we'd need to book for dinner and had to leave to find a restaurant in the pouring rain.

View of Old City and ease to access by car. Walking distance to Old City although a bit longer than we expected.
We were expecting a historic building not modern one. Some staff in the restaurants were not as friendly maybe needs to be advised to be more cheerful and courteous.

Parking is easy and the room was spacious and the bed very good
The reception staff attitude was below expectations. At check in we were told, in a perfunctory manner, that they had not received our dinner reservation and that the restaurant was full. We had specifically chosen this hotel because we had enjoyed the restaurant on a previous visit so this was very disappointing . We ate in the cafeteria which was not great although our server was very pleasant.
Our bathroom had no plug in the basin. We asked for one and was told, by the receptionist, that this could not be provided until the following day after we had left. Not good enough in a four star hotel.
This Parador hotel is behind the times. It was cold in the morning with no heating in the bathroom that worked and no in room facilities at all (Tea, Coffee etc.).
We will not stay here again.
