The hotel is located on the opposite side of the river from the city centre. While it takes around 40–50 minutes to get there by car, it’s only a five-minute boat ride across!
All you need to do is arrange the boat transfer with the hotel in advance. They offer complimentary transfers from 8 AM to 10 PM, which makes getting around incredibly convenient and enjoyable.
Breakfast is also very flexible. You can either arrange it the night before or simply ask them to prepare it when you wake up.
The property itself is lovely and charming, with spacious interiors. You can really tell that the owners put a lot of care and effort into running the place. Everything feels well looked after, and even the bedding was fresh and properly cleaned, which I really appreciated.
Although it’s certainly not a luxury hotel, I genuinely think it offers excellent value for money. The overall experience was well worth the price!
And as a lovely bonus, taking the boat across the river in the morning, enjoying the fresh breeze and peaceful views, was such a relaxing way to start the day.
I would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, charming, and reasonably priced stay!

The quiet and peaceful location and the staff who were lovely!
Nothing - everything was perfect

Beautiful West Bank location in Nubian Aswan. It was peaceful and far from cruise port crowds and noise. The homemade food was excellent and authentic. The hotel provided a boat for easily getting into town.
No room cleaning during our visit, only a couple of packets of some purple gel for toiletries left in the shower, and the TV had only 5 working channels out of 700. The main issue was communication around costs. Note that the hotel is cash-only at checkout and there is no atm nearby.

Great location, far away from the noisy city centre but also right in the middle of a natural, family-friendly neighbourhood, among the fields and the animals! In 10 minutes (and for free!), the hotel staff will drop you off on the East bank, where you can get a taxi.
Also, the room exceeded our expectations: not huge, but classy, with a beautiful bathroom and a balcony! Best value we encountered during our 1-month trip in Egypt!
This place is good for birdspotting!
Just a few dogs barking in the neighbourhood, at night...
