A stone's throw from the main square, this guesthouse was perfect for our 3 night stay in Khiva. Staying inside the Ichon Qala gives you the opportunity to experience Khiva without the crowds and walking amongst the ancient buildings lit up at night is awe inspiring.
The guesthouse itself is tastefully decorated and gave a real feel of being inside a family home.
Breakfast spread was included and they even made us a pack to go on the train.
The staff are gentle and lovely, made us feel really welcome. There's an out of tune piano to tinker on, a fishtank and a few little kids from the family playing around, my 3 year old really enjoyed staying here!
Nothing to dislike but our room was a little on the small side (there was a mini table and two bedside tables) if you have a lot of luggage. There was plenty of common space though which was really well appreciated

I loved staying here: my room looked out at the walls but was quiet at night. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was fine. Nice breakfast, perfect location and the family was both welcoming, helpful and kind. Definitely a great spot to stay in Khiva. Thank you !
Nothing.

We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our trip to Uzbekistan! A huge thank you to Qambar and his family for making us feel so welcome and at home from the very beginning.
The guesthouse is family-run, which makes the experience feel genuine and authentic. Qambar and his family are incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming, and they speak English very well, making everything easier :)
We arrived at Urgench airport early in the morning and booked the transfer service offered by the guesthouse. Our room was clean, with a beautiful view of Khiva’s ancient city walls. The beds had recently been replaced and were really comfortable.
Breakfast was another highlight: a delicious mix of local and international options, freshly prepared every day by the owner’s mother. Everything felt homemade and made with care ☺️
