Welcome to Beary Chic Chalet, your cozy, light-filled hideaway high on Ski Mountain Road in Chalet Village.
Picture this: you’re out on the deck with your morning coffee, the sun rising over the Great Smoky Mountains, and the whole family still asleep inside. Later, you sink into the hot tub as the valley lights begin to twinkle below. That’s a typical day here.
Inside, the chalet is freshly remodeled and bright, with white-washed walls, big windows that frame the views, and a gas fireplace for chilly evenings. The kitchen is made for family dinners, with granite counters, stainless appliances, a dishwasher, and a washer and dryer tucked behind a sliding barn door.
The kids will head straight for the game room, with its 65" Smart TV and shuffleboard table. Bedtime is easy too: bunk beds for the little ones, a queen suite downstairs, and a storybook upstairs “Cinderella Room” with its own half bath and a sunrise view.
You’re only minutes from Ober Mountain, about 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, and close to Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, and the National Park. After a day out, there are neighborhood pools (seasonal) and a clubhouse waiting. Our guests also tell us they spot bears, which is where the name comes from. Please admire them from a safe distance!

My family of 5 loved this home. It had so much space and plenty of games. It was comfortable, clean, beautiful. The homeowners pools and clubhouses were a great bonus. We saw a bear a few times. The house had everything we needed for our stay. The owner was easy to communicate with. It’s probably one of the most comfortable VRBO stays I’ve ever had. We used to hot tub a few times, which was a great added bonus! The views off the deck were amazing every morning! Good to know: It is a tricky drive up to the cabin with all the hills and curves. And it is not a walkable neighborhood. But once we got used to that, it was all good. It’s about 10 min to downtown Gatlinburg. A good 35-40 min to the closest grocery store, so plan accordingly. 5 stars would recommend!

This place was absolutely perfection. There is not one single thing I would change about it. We all felt right at home. We hated that we had to leave.

This home was everything that our family needed for our 10 day stay in Gatlinburg. The proximity to Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge adventures was perfect. The house was lovely and had everything we needed from space for everyone, a comfortable and functional kitchen, to epic views. I would highly recommend this home to anyone.
