About this cabin rental
This wonderful 1930's cabin showcases old Idyllwild charm. Unique places like this are hard to find especially this close to town. This home has beautiful douglas fir hardwood floors, cedar walls and ceilings. A Large living room & fireplace/insert, and very unique pocket windows. Our old style country kitchen has a spacious dining area with and adjacent small deck area for morning coffee or tea. Our cabin also features a very large enclosed deck with plenty of space to cook and enjoy the outdoors. It's also a great place for pets to keep them safe when outside. . Our home is ideal for families or just a couple wanting to get away from it all lPermit #003128

Cabin was quaint, clean, and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Note: Parking may be a little tight depending on the number and size of vehicles present.

The cabin sat in the midst of about 5 other cabins and was about 35 steps away from the other cabins. It was a good size with ample room in the kitchen, dining room, living room and bedrooms. The street did have some traffic that you will hear if you sit outside. The cabin was a little bit in need of a few minor repairs, i.e., very rusty kitchen sink, older furniture covers and rugs that needed a good cleaning, etc. It would definitely be suitable for pets. We did enjoy our stay and appreciate the host getting right back to us when we needed assistance. We enjoyed our stay in Idyllwild, and especially enjoyed hiking around in the nature center.

Outdated furniture and appliances, I understand it’s a cabin but also needs to be upgraded. Better options for the price out there!
