Quiet location, great communication. Owner was responsive to our requests. Driveway could be a challenge for some drivers.

The property was beautiful & the cabin very nicely situated. It was very clean & the kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. The host was very nice. There was a power outage the first day we got there & it was in the evening so no lights available for us to unpack. We called the host & left him a txt message. We didn’t know if there was a light source available since we only had one tiny flashlight. He must have called the neighbors because they came by with 2 laterns which we used until the power came back on around midnight. The next day, the power went off again for several hours. This was not the fault of the owner but was frustrating just the same. The driveway was also difficult to navigate since it was so steep. It was made know that an all wheel vehicle would make it just fine going up and down the driveway . It was still difficult for our all wheel SUV so we ended up leaving the vehicle at the top of the driveway & navigating the steep incline down to the cabin. We did get a partial refund for the inconvenience of the power outages which we appreciated.

This cabin is exceptionally clean and organized! Host very responsive. Location to town just two minutes away. The only caveat- we didn’t know the driveway was steep and rocky until we received checking in instructions. It is best to back down and then get a running start to head back up. Super tight parking at bottom if you head down. Not the best for two older ladies, but we did it. But really a great cabin. Lots of trees, birds, squirrels, rabbits. Pleasantly peaceful.
