Everything was great, from the location to the staff and the apartment as well. Definitely the place to stay if you plan to visit madrid.
We liked everything.

The location is great. Easy walk to Plaza del Sol and the Plaza Mayor. Metro stop is right across the street.
No problems.

Great location and space in the apartment.
Only complaint was the noise factor. We could hear everything from the street below as well as the apartments next to us and upstairs. I would recommend better insulation to mitigate the noise concerns.
