The staff were friendly, we didn’t know their language very well but we could communicate well enough in English. The place was clean and really close and easy to access from yamashina station
Nothing, everything was good.

While outwith Kyoto's main centre, the hotel has good transport links via train and metro. Staff provided a good welcome and ongoing service and the hotel was very comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent with a wide variety of buffet options and very nicely presented.
We had a room with two single beds which for us made the room feel more cramped than it would have down had it just a king size bed.
