The staff at the hotel were excellent. Very helpful, very responsive. It was nice that we actually had breakfast, which was not announced when we did the booking. The hotel is conveniently located literally 2 minutes away from a T2 stop, 10 minutes away from the airport and 30 minutes from the center and Duomo. It served its purpose fine.
Aside from the sign, which says hotel, the place is very unhotel-like - the entrance and the access, which is shared with other living quarters in the building. The fact that the place does not have 24 hour reception with this shared accessibility left me, personally, feeling a bit unsafe. The street in front is not sufficiently lit. This however is the approach in all cities such as Florence, overwhelmed with tourists, who come for a couple of nights to see the magnificent culture and history. Everything turns into a hotel or other type of accommodation and serves people, who are almost never going to return.

The room was clean and I paid a really low price for the service I was able to enjoy. Their breakfast is reach and good. The location was also really comfortable to reach the city center.

The reception staff were very friendly and gave us many useful tips. Both girls deserve special praise.
The room walls were extremely dirty, as was the room itself. There were bugs and mosquitoes. The shower was probably the worst possible. There was also a lot of noise coming from the street. The selection of TV channels was terrible. On the first night, there was huge noise in the hallways, with doors constantly slamming and echoing throughout the floor.
The hotel is basically just one floor of a building converted into rooms. The breakfast had the same limited and poor selection every day. In my opinion, the property needs significant investment, because in its current condition it does not offer good value for money.
