Breakfast was good.
The overall presentation was lacking. It appears there is a complete lack of storage at the hotel. You walk past a courtyard enroute to the breakfast room and it’s half full of junk. Outside. adjacent to the car park, crates of empty bottles are stacked up and have been there for a while. The garden areas within the hotel could be superb- all they need is some mulch to cover the irrigation. The plants are well established and look good.
Work out who is responsible for the car park which is shared with the council and clean up the weeds in the traffic islands. First impressions count!

Proximity to the venue we attended
For room 30, getting in and out of the bath/shower was dangerous and slippery as the shower water goes all over the floor. The room needed a deep clean. The queen bed was hard. The 2 flights of stairs were hard to get the bags up and down. The continental breakfast was basic. It was 27 and 28 degrees and the pool had a cover and the spa was empty. The whole place needs a facelift and compared to 10 years ago, has really become run down.
