We loved our stay. John was so welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Lots of recommendations for places to visit.
I wish we’d messaged and asked for the white noise waves that is played overnight to be turned down. Living in a town we’re used to no night noise. (I’m sure John would have turned it down if we’d asked).

Quite and peaceful location, close to many good places to eat, wonderful host. Informative of the best places to visit and to eat, along with knowledgeable about the history of the city.

The history of “The Store” is very interesting. The owner John meets you at check in and shows you around the place and shares the history and a little bit about himself. Absolutely the best when it comes to anything that makes your stay a five star event!! The bedding and bed are wonderful. John is accessible at all times. It was our anniversary and John told my husband about 3 different restaurants he would recommend. Did not disappoint. Death and Taxes was SOOOO GOOOD! One of our favorite anniversaries in 41 years!,
Nothing! All was great!

Unique and beautiful place to stay. John provided excellent directions for checking in and parking, and was hospitable. Bed was very comfortable. Appreciated the amenities (high end shampoo and conditioner, water bottles, snacks, fresh fruit, free Prime video and Netflix). John gave excellent suggestions for nearby activities and places to eat.
The floors were squeaky but that's to be expected with old buildings.
