A beautiful ryokan, the host and family were very attentive, the food was amazing, we ate things never eaten before (wasps,turtle & bear!). The location was perfect and the little tour given by their father was entertaining

Shiroyamakan is a magical place. You feel it the moment you step inside, in the beauty of the surroundings, the warmth of the hosts, and the atmosphere.
If I had to choose one experience I would not have missed during my 50 days travelling across Japan, it would be my stay here, especially the meals. The exquisite presentation and flavours made each meal an extraordinary experience: deeply moving and a delight for all the senses.

The family who runs this beautiful little four-room hotel is simply wonderful. They put so much love and care into every part of the experience — the stay, the food, the presentation, and, above all, making their guests feel truly at home. It is exceptional. Simply unbeatable!
