The property is right in the heart of Chirk and has had money spent on it to bring it back to its former glory, having been run down previously.
Maz the manager and the staff were attentive and friendly.
Evening meal and breakfast were delicious and not over expensive.
Our room was spacious and clean with a very modern bathroom .
This will probably become a weekend retreat for us in the near future.
No hesitation in recommending The Hand for food and drink and Maz will look after you.
The front of the hotel needs some attention.

The owners and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My bed was very comfortable and there were biscuits and plenty of toiletries left for us.

The helpfulness of David at check in was most appreciated
The view from our room and the water pressure

The property was clean and tidy , very quiet
No tv remote so was unable to watch tv, which isn’t practical with a 8 year old , it was reported to the staff and was told to look under beds!!! When looking under beds we found rubbish from previous quests!!!When it was reported for a second time they did try finding a different one but couldn’t, so we spent the night not being able to use the tv .
