The property was exactly what we needed. It was in the heart of the valley, with a playground right opposite for my children, and lots to see and do within a 30 minute vicinity. We stayed for two nights and it was beautiful, the scenery working walking distance was phenomenal. The castle grounds amazing.
The owners were so accommodating, funny, and kind. They brought our rooms closer together which meant we got an upgrade and we didn’t have to ask. They deserve to be fully booked all year round. An excellent experience.
Nothing though if you have young children you should ensure you have adequate food or access to food for the daytime.

Superb friendly staff and great food. Room was clean very spacious and comfy. Hotel was easy to find and very nice location. Loved the peacocks out back too.
Need more reason to go back.

Staff very friendly and helpful, very quiet
The hotel itself could do with some updating and more attention to stains on stair carpet, shower enclosures, cleaning behind cupboards and drawers, also left with no soap in en-suite and very little shower gel.
