Our stop on the way to Wardzia turned out to be a hidden gem. The rooms were spotless and well-equipped, the hosts were fantastic, and the breakfasts were so delicious and plentiful that we were speechless. Being able to pay by card was a big plus. We regret that we were only there for one night, but we don’t regret choosing Hotel Tsiskari. f it were possible, we’d give this place at least 12 out of 10.
Nothing needs to be improved. Fantastic place and hosts!

Everything was absolutely exceptional! The location, the room but most of all, the hosts and the food! You definitely have to have dinner and breakfast at this place! the kids sait there were the best tomatoes they had ever had :-). Everything is local, organic and prepared on the spot and the result is absolutely delicious!

We loved staying at Hotel Tsiskari, everything was perfect. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Food is delicious and the rooms are very clean. Would absolutely recommend it ! There are a lot to do around, so it’s worth staying for several days.

The young lady who worked at the reception was friendly.
I suppose its cultural, but when I arrived I was met with intimidating faces from the male staff. Two of them came out to me when I parked. They looked me up and down but didn't smile or say anything. Just watched me as I walked past them to the reception. The same happened the next day when I saw them. Not welcoming.
Then there are two friendly dogs who hang out at the entrance. Only problem is that they smell awful. I lived on a farm with dogs and have been in the Caucuses for a month. These dogs smelt worse than I have experienced. And you have to walk past them every time you go in and out of the hotel.
If this place wants to compete as an upscale vineyard/hotel, then they need to improve their service and appearance.
Also, I attempted a wine tasting but was told I could not because the person who gives the tasting was not there. I said I would just pay for a flight of 3 wines. This ended up being 50 GEL which is basically the price of three full glasses of wine at a nice restaurant in Tbilisi. The wine itself was ok.
