The property is beautiful, great location with an incredible view of Positano. The hotel is well kept, it’s clean and the staff were really helpful and friendly the entire time. I love the white and blue theme in the hotel, very cute.
I did not sleep well at all at this hotel and that ruined my experience in Positano. The bed was very uncomfortable, with polyester blankets and pillows plastic sheets being provided. I would have expected a 4 star hotel to provide a proper duvet with cotton sheets with a decent thread count. I cannot sleep in such sheets. The balcony had an incredible view, but you can smell oil from cooking just below, which attracted many flies. Plus there was a loud generator. I guess this is not the fault of the hotel, but it meant we couldn’t open the door for fresh air without the whole room smelling like a kitchen.

Beautiful location and view over Positano. Staff very friendly and enthusiastic about the hotel, food and the area. Rooftop area lovely way to spend a couple of hours in the sun.Breakfast and meals in restaurant were fantastic.
An escalator up to the hotel entrance after all the steps would have been nice!

The cleanliness, the staff and room were all excellent.
The access to the facility was hectic. There is no access by car and bags need to be taken up long winding steps by the hotel staff and really felt them as our bags were quit heavy.

The view was great but that's about it.
Everything in Positano seems to be focussed on screwing over tourists whenever possible. You are at the hosts mercy. City tax must be paid in cash, why? No coffee machine in an Italian seaside 4 star hotel, just instant coffee and no milk? Terrible...At this price per night i recommend staying elsewhere. You will thank me later. And don't start me about the 107 stairs to get to the hotel...what a joke! But it is mentioned in the hotel policies once you read them. It's also non smoking but they have ashtrays in every room so you can sit on your balcony and smell the cigarettes from all the other balcony occupants who are smoking...cos there's no privacy...all balconies can see each other...
