A truly hidden gem! Jane is an amazing hostess who made sure everything was perfect from the moment we arrived—including having the hot tub pre-heated and ready to go. The location is wonderfully quiet and peaceful. We loved the sauna, as well as the thoughtful touches of fresh food and water. Attention to detail throughout was top-notch. Highly recommended

Lovely place and Jane and her son could not have been more welcoming. En suite room was warm, comfortable and had lots of character.

Unfortunately our room hadn’t been cleaned after the previous occupants on our arrival. We arrived after the check-in time stipulated on booking.com, having informed the owner of our expected time of arrival via the website.
This was rather disappointing after a 4 hour journey in the heat.
The armchairs in the room were still untidy from the previous occupants which made me feel a little uncomfortable.
We didn’t want to trouble the owner by asking for shower gel. The dispenser was empty, and we’d already asked a barrage of questions relating to WiFi password/ iPad password/ availability of a fan. The fan heater supplied didn’t help much unfortunately and although the heatwave is in no way the fault of the owner, a simple table fan might be a wise investment. The owner was good enough to supply us with a bowl of ice.
