Central location, easy to get by foot to many attractions, restaurants, cafes, shopping areas... it was comfortable, and the staff was very nice and helpful. There's a water dispenser which makes things easy.
Not much - there were not enough hooks/hangers to hang the towels. Breakfast was fine, but not much selection for the western palate. Also, fighter jets are constantly training above Tainan (as there is an air force base there), and the noise insulation is not very good.

"Very friendly and helpful staff, who were also very helpful in getting my suitcase sent ahead of my arrival. Good breakfast, and enjoyed the cold drinks available in the lobby."
