Quiet property located between main road and beach, easy access to shops, cafes, restaurant. Short transfer from ferry. Beach not great for swimming due to rocks/coral/abrasive sand so having the pool was great, and being in a garden courtyard had a good mix of sun and shade through the day. Easy to hire scooters from property. The nearby restaurant run by the owners was our favourite for dinner.
Warm water in the shower a bit sporadic but that seems to be a common thing on the island.

Loved the staff and the pool. The landscaping and external seating is good
The small things like where the light switches were, the fact that there was no soap stand in dispenser in the shower, a large crack in the bathroom wall, wood in the shower!!!! The staff were very nice though

Big room, with comfortable bed, shower and AC. 50 meters from the beach and the Arthemas ferry station.
The bathroom window was open and a gecko got in. We managed to get him out and then closed the window. To avoid that they get in, close all doors and windows, turn on the AC, close the curtains and keep lights to the minimum. It worked for us very well. The geckos like humid and bright places, so creating the opposite environment will keep them out.
The road both to the beach and to the main street is a bit rough. You need sandals or beach shoes at least.
The AC was very powerful and blowing on us during the night. We had to divert the stream from the bed repositioning the tall plant

Peaceful and quiet. Little sanctuary close to beach
Stayed here for the staff ratings to get that Homestay feeling, however minimal interaction with staff. Didn’t speak much English, not very engaging. Being a solo traveller it was a bit too quiet for me
