Amiable staff, made me feel welcome at the get-go. It was also super easy to organise activities at the reception and they included a pick-up from the hostel. The common kitchen had everything one needs to cook meals etc. Close to the train station and if one is keen on walking the trip to Bled is not too bad on foot. Easy & free left luggage system.
The single room was quite small with a tiny window, but for the price it wasn't too bad. Also, if you are planning to sleep in be warned that the place is next to a church and the bells will start at 7am :D

Very clean, up to date facility. Extremely helpful staff. Nice to have sink and running water in my room. Free shuttle service to and from Lake Bled. Good breakfast for the price. Actually stayed an extra night because of the area and the facility.

The breakfast cost 4 euros, but I have not taken it. I went to the supermarket to prepare my own breakfast. I did take the caffe latte every morning (2 euros). The kitchen is well-equipped with two guest fridges. The hostel is 4 km from Lake Bled but provides a free shuttle (10:00 AM departure, 6:00 PM pickup at Bled bus terminal). This shuttle gave me plenty of time to see Vintgar Gorge, Bled Castle, and complete the 1.5-hour stroll around the lake in one day. Conveniently, there are two supermarkets (Spar and Lidl) and a McDonald's just a 10-minute walk from the hostel.
I stayed for two nights in a private room with a shared bathroom. The room was basic but functional, furnished with just a bed and a table.

Close to Bled (as long you have a car)
Very limited number of bathrooms. Rooms were hot at night as no air con or fan. Private rooms were very basic with no amenities
