The bathroom door got locked , hot water was not 24/7, beds weren't comfortable

We rented two rooms for a family vacation. Overall the rooms were very good, with a nice and very well stocked kitchen, with utensils, pots/pans, silverware, trash bags, etc. - everything needed for a good stay. It was conveniently located across from a supermarket, so easy to do our shopping. It was a bit outside of Lake Placid, but minutes by car and also walkable. It was also a good base for exploring the area and driving to other sites in the Lake Placid area.
The air conditioners were a bit noisy, and there was an odor in one of the rooms.

The rooms are visually stunning. They did an excellent job renovating the property, and it's quite modern. The space is well thought out and the hide-a-bed couch even got rave reviews from our sometimes particular daughters. The main bed was quite comfortable.
Although the room itself was set back from the road, and there was no real appreciable traffic noise, the bedroom door was quite squeaky and needed some oil. The door jamb to the bathroom was also so tight, it was noisy to open and close. The dishwasher also had a small leak.

Bed was comfortable.... Location was convenient
Wifi not very good. Windows had no screens so couldn't open them for fresh air. Windows didn't close completely and at least one had the lock broken off so anyone could have entered the ground floor apartment. Adirondack chairs in front looked out over an ugly parking lot.
