The Scandia Motel has always been a clean, quiet, and safe place to stay -- my last stay was no exception. The accommodations are old: the bed creaks, but it was firm enough; and the air conditioning unit was loud and hard to adjust. Still, the price was right for the most important things to me -- safety and cleanliness.
I am not sure if the Scandia Motel can be updated and still be the same. It needs new air conditioning units and newer beds, but, again, it is a great place to stay at a decent price.
