I was looking for a last minute stay in OBX Buxton area. I love the quiet laid back feel. Cape Pines met that vibe. Staff were kind, professional, and responsive. They even mailed back PJ’s that were left in the room. Because of this, I say if you want a kicked back atmosphere with great staff, stay here.
The motel is basic, no frills but close to everything you may need with a market across the street. The best scallops and fresh fish bites at Pops Restaurant are only a mile drive down the road.

Convenient location in Buxton located across the street from the local grocery store. Easy to access beaches/shops in Avon, Frisco or Hatteras. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Nothing.
