We stay at Ala Moana once a year and enjoy its amenities and location. Refurbished room was very nice. Location next door to shopping centre is a big bonus.
Room 802 is very near central lifts and we could hear the continuous travelling of lifts going up and down until late at night making it difficult to sleep. A little disappointing for our stay.

Handy to everything. Was good for one night stay before we flew home.

Location was great. It was walking distance to the mall and beach.
We wanted to get something to eat and there was a card in the room with a restaurant that had sandwiches, pasta and pizza as well and also delivered. So we ordered a few items on the menu but it was cold when we got it. And one of the items didn't have the sauce that went with it. It was $60 dollars worth of food. I would have expected more from this restaurant being that it was recommended by the hotel. And they didn't take international cards as well. That is the one thing that we didn't like at all.

Nice staff n good location
Bedding was ill fit, blanket was thin n itchy. No extra pillow or comfy blanket in the room for the pullout. Would be nice to log into Netflix or other streaming programs on a smart tv.
