The Woodlands Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton

It was huge and everyone was friendly. The staff was great and omg our rooms were gorgeous. We loved our balcony. Will definitely be coming back next year!

I loved everything. Next I would like to check in a little sooner so we can enjoy the amenities.

Loved the water park. Kids (9 and 12) were able to be independent but safe. Lobby was clean and smelled fantastic. S’mores station was fun and convenient.

Harrison’s. It was a joke. The restaurant sat us, and several tables around us. Not completely full, but definitely doable for a restaurant. We sat an hour waiting for our food. All the customers kept looking at each other wondering what was happening. No communication. Finally, got our server over to ask what was happening and they told us it would be 30 MORE minutes. We got up and left, as did many other customers. When you spend that much money on a hotel, you should be able to get fed.

The staff were friendly. Even when they messed up my check in, they kept apologizing. The room was a good size, clean, with great water pressure in the shower. I believe it was a little overpriced but, we really enjoyed sitting by the lake in the evenings watching the ducks.

Upon check in, after I submitted my paid in full receipt from my online booking, they couldn't find me and decided to cancel, refund and rebook me under someone else's name that was similar to mine. Upon checking out, I was still booked in as the other person, after I had already informed them over 3 days that it was incorrect. Food was scarce and very expensive. It was crowded and no where to sit at the pool. We ended up sitting on the ground. Then we went to get in the lazy river (anything but lazy), the hotel was supposed to include innertubes, but there were not enough and most people just walked down the lazy river. There was no wait staff to bring food to you. You had to order up at the bar and stand around and wait for 45 minutes to get your chicken tenders.
