Breakfast was great. Location was fine.

Nice selection of food at breakfast. The employee at the front desk was very friendly, warm, and welcoming. Her name was Shyanne and she took her job seriously enough to make me feel like we were old friends. I liked that and I liked her attitude. Her kindness exceeded my expectations.
The chair with wheels for the desk could be improved.

The hotel has a lot of new updates (unfinished). It was mostly very clean. Almost all of the employees were very pleasant. Our room was large (but empty).
What was not made clear in the listing is that the hotel is under construction (the listing said it would be done well before we arrived). We paid extra for a suite to have a couch, desk, & so on. We arrived to a half empty room, without warning when checking in. No couch, or end tables/coffee table, no desk, no microwave.
We were looking forward to using the indoor pool (for therapeutic reasons) but it was ice cold & unusable.
The breakfast area was not clean, including old food on & down the side of the only trash can. The employee working it was absolutely miserable & unhelpful. We arrived about an hour into breakfast & everything was almost gone.
What made me the maddest - they charged over $350 for one night for this hot mess. When I complained I was given a SMALL discount. That is ridiculous. They never should have charged me so much for an empty suite in the first place.
