Holiday Inn Express & Suites Alcoa Knoxville Airport by IHG

This holiday inn was perfect for us with our budget and everything we needed. The staff was friendly and breakfast was wonderful.

My biggest problem was safety! I have two young children and as carried things in I figured it would be a pain because we would have to keep using our keys to unlock doors which is okay because it keeps us safe but unfortunately NO door that went to the outside locked! While that was great bring things in it didn’t sit right with me when it was time to sleep so we put a chair against the door but still we didn’t get much sleep. Thankfully nothing happened but it was a big safety concern.

Location and non-smoking policy. Great breakfast too!

Location

Little dated

It was modern, had lots of amenities, and was a great location.

My room was extremely humid. After a day of running the Air Conditioning at full and then running the heat at full all night, the room felt wet. The entry way floor was wet enough to be slippery. We told staff about it and how it was uncomfortable and the only solution that was offered was “we’ll make a note of it.” No one came to look at it, no other room was offered, nothing.
