It's a pretty good value. The location is convenient. It was mostly quiet, but I could hear the neighbors slamming doors and conversing for a bit. Staff were great. Breakfast was good (best bacon I've had in awhile).
I did have to unplug the refrigerator to stop its non-stop droning. The carpet has seen better days. Toilet seat didn't fit properly (kept slipping off to the side). I saw a stink bug I took care of.

Convenient to our family reunion.
I know the property is in the middle of renovation. This is the second year in a row we stayed. I hope the finished renovations they put new mattresses on the beds.

I chose the property because of the location and the reputation of Holiday Inn. It was nice.
Several of the tiles in the bathroom were broken. It was not an issue for me, but it needs probably needs to be repaired.

Hotel staff, especially breakfast staff, were very helpful. Appreciated the late hours of the pool area.
The room (8 person suite) was very bare. The carpets were stained and appeared to not be maintained. There was no coffee pot in room or kitchen items available to be used by guests. It did have a mini fridge and a sink. Ceiling in bathroom appears to have mildew. There was still old bed covers on sofa bed. Overall, it appears the rooms can use better cleaning. I left feeling like there's a possibility of bringing bedbugs home with me and no mom wants to feel like that! The pool area was very dim and cold which was a disappointment when it was advertised as heated.
The man who checked us in wasn't at the counter, nor did he seem to care to give instructions to me about the stay such as check out times, breakfast and pool hours, etc. He was nice enough but not very proactive at his job.
Overall, it did not feel like a welcoming stay by the atmosphere of the suite. The last hotel we stayed at had counter space, a full fridge, stovetop, microwave, sink, dishes, and dishsoap/linens. This felt like they were afraid we'd steal items so they supplied nothing in the suite area, nor the space to make your own food forcing us to spend more money eating out for our family. There werent even bed linens for the sofa bed provided or plastic cups for drinking. The lobby and breakfast were great! If cleanliness, a welcoming environment, and maintenance is a priority for you, this isn't the location for you unfortunately.
