8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026

Windborne B&B is in an excellent location, not too far from Castlegar, in a beautiful quiet location. We were in the King suite, and enjoyed the body jet shower and the air-jet tub in the bathroom. Marc & Mirja were gracious friendly hosts, and we enjoyed Marc 's delicious breakfast, and Mirja 's beautiful artwork on the walls.

Having to walk through the hosts private living space to get to our suite. Not having the ability to make coffee in our suite (although there is a teakettle etc)

Very clean. Owners were friendly and approachable Able to check in early Breakfast fancier and nicer than anticipated Beautiful art work by one of the owners Towels folded into cute animals Wine glasses & corkscrew readily available

Would have preferred/liked 1.) A locking bedroom door 2.) Bench or shelf in the shower for toiletries Would suggest for future guests to let them know there are dogs at this Bed & Breakfast ... we love dogs, so not an issue with us There was a very strong cooking smell from their dinner they prepared, owners probably didn't realize
