Fantastic bed and pillows, I could have slept forever. Great shower pressure, very clean. What could be updated was - taps, fridge etc.
The Internet was not strong enough for my needs. The tub and bathroom floor need work. The floor is ceramic tile and is cracked but clean. The tub needs new caulking, clean but appears like the mold had to be scrapped off. It’s just tired, but quaint. All in all, I’d stay again.

The location of the hotel was on the river, very pretty, and we were delighted to find our room overlooked its grassy banks. It was an easy walk to town and restaurants, the town hall where we enjoyed an unexpected movie feature, and (had we realized it), the lighthouse. We didn't take meals at the inn, but were glad to know they were offered and would try them if we stayed again--which we would like to do!
Most of the time, we kept the curtains drawn on our wonderful view for privacy--the walkway outside led to other rooms and there was quite a bit of traffic. The inn was reasonably quiet, but there was some noise from other guests.

Helpful staff. Room basic but serviceable. The dinner service was fantastic, great food, drink and atmosphere. I would return for the shower alone- looked basic but felt like a massage. Good overnight stop. Beautiful location.saw seals in the water right outside!
Room decor a bit tired and neglected. Not as sparkling clean as I would like. Rickety stairs and old plywood sheet corridor to upstairs rooms felt cheap and flimsy. Why not offer a breakfast? You already have the dining room. Puzzling, and it would improve the value for money.
