The Rose & Thistle is a gorgeous restored 1914 (if I remember correctly) home. It is comfortable, warm, and welcoming. We had a beautiful, spacious room. And it’s a great location to walk into town.
Breakfast’s were amazing. Rise enjoys cooking and baking and it shows with the array of dishes and baked goods.
The innkeepers, Rose and George, could not have been any nicer. They go above and beyond. I’ve stayed at many B&B’s throughout our travels and this was without a doubt my all time favorite. I had actually switched my travel plans around just to stay here, and I’m so happy I did.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rose and George were excellent hosts. Evenings on the veranda were a great way to relax and meet fellow guests.

Run by a very friendly, welcoming and engaging couple. Comfy bed, clean room and a good breakfast. An extremely well-run establishment which would be our first choice in the future.
