The staff were really great. I list this first, because honestly, even the best hotel with the best amenities will leave you with a bad impression if the service is poor - And every interaction I had with the people at Humphrey's was lovely.
The room was huge, super clean and the beds were the best I have ever slept in.
The pool was perfect. The whole place feels so resort-like. I live only a couple of hours away in Los Angeles, but I felt like I left the mainland. My friend and I didn't leave for the beach as much as we thought we would, because the pool was so nice and we kept getting into long conversations with other guests. It was so much fun.
I recommend this hotel to everyone!
There were so many fees! I don't mind the parking fee - I expect that. But there was an additional "humphrey's pass" fee or something like that - which is required and yes, you get 20% off breakfast and 10% off other food - but , just add that fee to the overall room fee. - CA hotel fees are enough, sigh.
