Comfort Inn Belleville

The location is very convenient and within walking distance of many restaurants and the mall. I liked the fresh new renovation from the last time I stayed. The front lobby design and the cozy corner with beverages, snacks and 24 hour coffee and tea bags is a nice touch. They also have lemon water at the front as a refreshing option which is thoughtful.

The bathroom shower door kept sliding open while I was taking a shower. The proximity of the toilet paper roll from the toilet is awkward. I had to bend and reach really far across to get it. It should have been mounted beside the toilet. No iron and ironing available in the room. The Folgers coffee in the lobby didn’t taste very good, although my sister liked the decaf better!

The rooms were beautifully renovated and the bed was extremely comfortable. Being able to park pre car right outside the door abs use the dosing door entrance was so helpful for loading and unloading. The 2 employees wiring the desk were so friendly. I had an issue with my card not wanting to read but they were both so patient in problem solving it and didn't make me feel bad for holding them up. I also want expecting to be told that the lemon water and cookies in the waiting area were for everyone! I thought they would be only for people with loyalty points but it was immediately offered to me in check in. And the breakfast!!! Oh the breakfast! It's been a long time since I had such a good meal to start the day the sausage links were so good and I need to know what brand of tinned beans you use please. Because they were delicious.

Minor things that could be improved in room ont and may be in the pipeline as the place is clearly being well looked after. The sliding doors are still old so they were difficult to open and close and lock but I know what an expense replacing all of those would be. In the bathroom the toilet paper holder was on the wall opposite the toilet which was quite a distance for someone like myself with some mobility issues. I had to remember each time to get some toilet paper before I sat down and effectively I ended up just removing it from the holder and putting it on the counter to reach it.

Good value and proximity to where we wanted to be. Staff was friendly and it was clean.

The only complaint I had was it was very noisy. This isn’t the hotels fault but people we banging doors at all hours and talking and laughing outside the window in the parking lot till really late. So overall not the best sleep.

too expensive— also- at 9:15 when breakfast ended at 10 they refused to provide more food – said the boss said they couldn’t open more pancake mix – with 45 minutes left to go and running out of food that seems inappropriate and absolutely not apologetic about it and didn’t offer a compensation
