About this cabin rental
Welcome to our cozy Tahoe cabin tucked into the pines, with a seasonal creek running right through the backyard and an incredibly convenient South Lake Tahoe location.
The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with three queen beds, one twin, plus a daybed that converts from a twin to a king. It’s a comfortable home base for families, couples or friends looking for a Tahoe getaway. The home can sleep 9, but our rental permit stipulates that we can only host 6 adults, plus up to 5 children under 13 (who do not count toward the 6 adult max). Our permit allows for 3 cars max parked in our driveway.
One of our favorite things about the house is the location. Heavenly’s California Base is about a 10-minute walk or a quick drive. Our gear room/mudroom has direct access outside, space for skis and boards, boot warmers, and a washer and dryer - so it’s especially easy to get out on the mountain. Himmel Haus is also about a 10 minute walk away for the best après-ski and German food! You’re just a 2-minute drive from Whole Foods and the lake and about 4 minutes from Heavenly Village, with hiking and biking trails nearby. We'd love to recommend you some of our fav hikes, restaurants, and ski runs :)
Despite being so close to everything, the house feels surprisingly tucked away. You can hear the seasonal creek running under the deck while you’re sitting outside, and we often see birds and other wildlife in the yard and neighborhood.
Inside, there’s a gas fireplace for cozy winter days, central heat, and a fully equipped kitchen with a brand-new induction range, dishwasher, microwave, drip coffee maker and French press. We also have high-speed Verizon internet with Spectrum as backup so you can WFH as needed, plus a smart TV and board games if you want to cozy up inside.
We love spending time here ourselves and hope the house feels like a comfortable, easy home base for your own Tahoe adventures!
