Hotel is a short 15 minute walk to the casinos on the Nevada state line. Courteous and helpful staff.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lodge at Lake Tahoe. We were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome by the reception team and this carried on through to the maintenance and cleaning team. The room was clean and comfortable and it was a treat to have a sofa and table and chairs in the room after being on the road for a couple of weeks sitting on a bed in motels . The hot tub was great after a day’s hike. The maintenance team was excellent at keeping the pool, hot tub and the grounds clean each morning. The location was perfect for us, just off the main road which was quieter than the main drag, but close enough to walk into the village and drive in and out of the area into the mountain. Wonderful place and superb value for money.

We were thrilled with the layout of our room, which included a full kitchen and a separate bedroom. The amenities in the kitchen come in handy if you’re trying to save money by not eating every meal out. Everything worked as expected. We didn’t need to use the heater or the box fan because the weather was perfect (67 degrees) when we were there. We heard some bear activity in the back parking lot one night. But we had no trouble in our room, because we kept our windows closed.

Love my room and the pool was perfect.

Excellent place to stay. The kitchen was a bonus. The only problem we had was with the AC. It didn’t seem to work for us, but luckily we found a fan in the closet and used that. Overall I would recommend staying here. It’s a great place for families.

Good location but don’t start road side room. It is pretty noisy at night

8 / 10Excellent·Jun 2026

The nightly rate was quite high compared to how basic the property is. The blinds weren’t working and cords were broken on a couple of windows. The cleaning service isn’t daily. The positives are that kitchen is adequately appointed and we were able to find all necessary things.
