The apartment is recently renovated with simple but contemporary furnishings and a great bathroom and walk in shower. Loved the cleanliness and simplicity of the place. Lots of utensils in the kitchen and nice toiletries in the bathroom (even though we used our own). Massive 65” TV too! Location was great for both Kempton Park and the rail station, both within easy walking distance. The apartment was warm and inviting and surprisingly well insulated from sound from the other apartments (or maybe the other guests were very quiet). There is some road noise but nothing too intrusive unless you have the windows open. I would stay in the apartment again, for sure, with the caveats noted below. I would recommend this apartment in its current state for overnight stays or short stays which the facilities are excellent. It has a very comfortable SuperKing Bed. Both the communal areas and the apartment were lovely and tidy and clean. It did need a folder with information about things like how to use the locks or how to use the heating or what to do with rubbish etc. There was no info at all. Also in the bathroom there was what seemed like a lovely bidet toilet but there was no control unit to be able to use it :(
After I booked I heard nothing other than a confirmation email from Booking.com. I messaged the owner about access but didn’t hear anything so I was a little concerned if the booking has confirmed with the owner or not. Just prior to the check in time I got a message with the access code, a message to that effect earlier would have put my mind at rest.
For a longer stay (we had 5 nights) there were a couple of things that would have made the stay more pleasurable. The kitchen was well done but behind double doors and whilst you may wish to hide the kitchen for a one night stay, the doors were mostly left open for our stay, If they were at least pocket doors they would not have intruded into the room so much constantly. There is enough room in the apartment for the kitchen to have been open allowing for slightly more facilities. It may seem a luxury but having a dishwasher, even a small slimline or single dish drawer) would have been nice, the listing said it had one but there was only a small sink which was a little bit of a pain to keep washing up dishes every day. For an extended stay in an apartment access to a washing machine is also essential, even if there was a communal one that could have been accessed in the communal area? Maybe the main target for these apartments is just for one or two night stays.. even then I think I would like to have a dishwasher to save having to wash up. The other thing for longer stays, is to have surfaces to put your items from suitcases, whilst there was a decent size wardrobe there were no other real surfaces other than directly under the TV and that needed to be kept free to swivel the TV.
The worst thing for us though was that the apartment was advertised with an EV charger and the booking was made based on that facility, but it was broken and the owner didn’t seem to know when it would be fixed. When travelling with an EV, the availability of a charger at your accommodation is often you try to plan with.

Very clean and well presented apartment. Great space and good access to stations
Lack of info on how to access internet or what was expected when leaving. Only told on arrival that EV charging wasn’t working.

The instructions on accessing the property was very detailed and clear.
