Great location, central walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants in Davie, Robson and Denman St. Close to Stanley park to walk, run or cycle. Big apartment, with a beautiful outlook in a lovely neighbourhood. Early check in provided after a long haul flight
Communication from the start was absent. Sent messages and phoned -no answer. Had to ring bookings twice for confirmation and reply re checking in and address as address provided on booking.com site is incorrect. I was concerned I had paid a fraudulent advertiser. Also poor communication with accessing apartment. Need to talk to someone at front buzzer to allow access to building and lifts. This was not explained, told to punch in room number, go to lift 2 and your room is available. No lift 2. Need fob to access building, and lifts. Other tenants in building complex had mentioned same issues with their apartment.
Unsure if apartment cleaned prior to our stay as
Dishwasher full of dirty dishes, washing machine full of wet smelly sheets and there were towels hanging in both bathrooms that stunk so bad they had to be washed twice before use.
Communication with onsite person much better via WhatsApp. But this ain’t readily available.
I had organised a late checkout (with payment) and had people knocking to get into apartment. Ended up having to pack quickly and leave as it had been double booked. I did receive my money back for the trouble.
