Self-catering. Basic facilities but all that was needed. The location is absolutely wonderful with a short walk down the lane gets you on to open moor and in easy reach of tors. Merrivale is close and, of course, lovely Tavistock is too.
There was a night of heavy rain and, with a tree overhanging, the sound on the roof was deafening. Some would be used to that but I found it hard to sleep through. Also, and this is the fault of Booking.com in their information, there is no free wifi on the site. It has to be paid for. It is not clear on the paperwork and the staff were very apologetic. They informed me that they have told Booking.com before to sort this out. Please do so!!!
