Extremely dirty, poorly maintained apartment with no reliable heating
Clamart is a nice location, flat is in a nice building, good size. Sunny, good window covers.
My two-night stay was extremely disappointing. The apartment was unhygienic, badly maintained and clearly not properly prepared for guests. The overall condition of the property was unacceptable.
Serious cleanliness issues: There was thick black mould underneath a kitchen bowl, dried urine stains on the toilet seat, and large unidentified dark stains on the bedsheets. The sofa was covered in dark, unidentified stains, the curtains had numerous orange stains, and the bathroom door was also covered in stains. The apartment had an overpowering fragrance, which made me question whether unpleasant odours were being masked rather than the property being properly cleaned.
Poor maintenance: The flat appeared neglected and badly looked after. One of the bedroom wardrobes was missing a door, and there was also a missing light switch. Combined with the stained furniture and generally poor condition, the apartment showed a clear lack of basic upkeep.
Heating problems: The heating was not working during parts of my stay. After I contacted the host because the apartment was freezing, the heating was restored for one night but was off again on my final night. When I contacted the host again, explaining how cold it was with outdoor temperatures around 11°C, their response was simply, "I don't know." No solution or alternative heater was offered, leaving me extremely cold throughout my final night.
Poor communication and check-in: Despite knowing my arrival time, the host was unreachable when I had difficulty opening the lockbox. I called several times without an answer and waited approximately 30 minutes for a response.
Inadequate facilities:The Wi-Fi was unreliable and repeatedly disconnected. For a two-night stay, only one hand towerl and one bath towel were provided, with no proper bathroom floor mats. Washing & dryer machine smells like mildew, have not been cleaned either.
