First floor: partially covered entryway leading to an open hallway with a coat rack. Bright, cozy living room with a seating area and satellite TV. Open kitchen with built-in stove (4 ceramic burners, oven), dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, dining area, and access to the patio and garden. Shower/toilet with underfloor heating. From the living room, stairs lead to the attic (sloped ceiling): 1 large double bedroom; from here, access to a small twin bedroom.

Pets are not allowed, and this is a non-smoking property.

LOCATION AND AMENITIES OF THE PROPERTY:
The vacation home is located on the outskirts of Hofstetten, in a quiet and idyllic area, right next to a mountain stream and bordered by woods and fields. It underwent extensive and elaborate renovations in 2018; prior to that, its long history included serving as a bakery and a small distillery, among other uses.
Large terrace with furniture, a parasol, 4 lounge chairs, and a portable grill. A garden laid out on different levels with an additional lounge area featuring a fire pit, perfect for relaxing. Above the vacation home in the woods is another lounge area with a fantastic panoramic view. 2 parking spaces at the vacation home.
The center of Hofstetten, with restaurants, is about 500 m away; a bakery with shopping options, as well as a beautiful outdoor pool and other attractions, are about 700 m away. The nearest large supermarket is in Haslach (3.5 km). Numerous marked cycling, mountain biking, and hiking trails (e.g., Kinzigtal or Elztal) start practically right outside the front door.

The town of Hofstetten is located in the heart of the beautiful, forested, and hilly Black Forest, in the Ortenau district. There are many great places to visit, including Offenburg (30 km), the large amusement park “EUROPAPARK” (40 km), and the beautiful, historic city of Freiburg im Breisgau (45 km). French Alsace on the other side of the Rhine, with the beautiful and fascinating city of Strasbourg, as well as the well-known destinations along the local Wine Route (Riquewihr or Obermorschwihr), are also ideal for day trips and culinary discoveries (50 km).
