Zentral gelegen, 10 Minuten Spaziergang zum Bahnhof, viel Platz mit 2 Schlafzimmern(Queensize beds), 2 Bäder,Sehr ruhig in der Woche ,ein bisschen laut am Wochenende. Ein sehr angenehme Aufenthalt.

Location very central, short walk to local tesco express, and nightlife if wanted. Keys in lock box and code given just before arrival. Flat in lovely old building in The Calls. Lina was responsive by phone. Living area large and light. We did not eat in but there was sufficient crockery etc if we had wanted to cook ourselves. Flat was clean and towels and body wash provided. Parking on street was readily available paid by the hour. Overnight was free until 8am. Was very good value for money.
The toilet in bathroom had a problem with ?flapper valve and water trickled constantly and noisily into toilet which meant it could not be used. Lina contacted about this but not fixed over the weekend, presumably because not a plumbing emergency which understandable and we were not in the property during the day. Street noise at night on Saturday but not sunday..and it was probably university freshers week! The building hallway was in poor shape on ground floor with what looked like a large spill of red paint over hall carpet. Did not affect our stay but it suggested the communal areas rather neglected. The flat could benefit from a re-paint as looked a little worn.

Flat was perfect for 2 travel companions, giving one bathroom each and one bedroom each. Main room is spacious, light and modern. No fan for ventilation in hot weather so we kept blinds closed in the day, then opened everything at night for cool airflow, that did the trick. Comfy beds. Salt/pepper provided which was helpful for cooking. Fairly quiet for sleeping at night. Quaint view of the Minster tower from the window! Good location for everything we needed in the city centre. Nice being near the river in historic cobbled streets. Not far to walk to a small Sainsbury to get breakfast stuff. Recommend the yellow boat water taxi from train station to Royal Armouries dock. Messaging and speaking to host was easy, nice dealing with a small business owner, not a big faceless company. We were able to arrange early check-in to make best use of our first day.
Elegant Victorian brick building of the Church Army historically used as lodging hostel, tastefully converted to 40 new apartments in 2016. Many are short lettings.
An ironing board would be good, to use with the iron, but we managed with a towel on the table.
A proper washing up bowl would be good, as the kitchen sink plug leaks.
Some tin foil would be good, to keep the grill pan clean while cooking.
It would be nice to know the lockbox is the top one next to the flat door, not in the entrance lobby.
The lift is out of order, but carrying cases to the First Floor is not hard.
