Unreliable host: cancelled just before we were due to arrive
The stay never happened. It was cancelled while we were on our way, an hour before we were due to arrive, but an hour after the scheduled check-in time. Very unprofessional and left us scrambling around for an alternative.

it was not what we expected.
the shower was hot
Tried to ring Michael on arrival his phone was switched off as we got lost and cant see the address on the wall because of over grown trees, we did finally find the iron gates, i rang him again to find out about free parking that was on his website his phone was switched off, tried to send messages no reply, so had to park in hotel car park next to where we where staying for £7.00, then we came back at 3pm as advised by Michael to get the code for the doors, rang him and sent messages to say that we were here, phone was switched off, by 3.30pm we still didn't have any codes, as we where going to the theatre for 6.30pm, so we thought this is a scam as could not get in touch with him, as his phone was still switched off, so we decide to go and find an other hotel, we went to the hotel next door which was the Hotel Indigo to ask if they had any rooms for that night, but they where fully booked, they advised us to go the The County Hotel, by this time we where panicking as we had no where to stay, also had to pay another £9.00 for parking until the next morning, as we where in the queue at the County Hotel waiting to book a room we received codes at 3.40pm,but no phone call from Michael at all, so we found the apartment, is was very stuffy no windows open, as advised a deep clean is done every time some one leaves. well that was definitely not the case, bathroom had toilet paper and dust on the floor, the shower tray was not clean, the extractor fan was black, the fan in the bedroom was very dirty, there was rubbish in the wardrobe, the blinds in all rooms where very dirty, the bedding wasn't ironed and the sheet had a black mark on it, the electric socket in the kitchen was broken where the kettle was plugged in, also the left hand cupboard door below the sink when opened the top hinge was not attached properly, also there was no kitchen sink plug, there were light blubs not working in all rooms. I have photos of all the things i have said.
