Beautiful stunning properly, gorgeous furnishings and building designs. We loved also playing paddle ball and using the spa. Wonderful facility. Very peaceful and beautiful, perfect for our honeymoon! They even so kindly gave us a bottle of champagne! Wonderful included breakfast!
We did not rent a car so due to the remote location you couldn't walk off property and there were very few taxis. Hotel happily arranged taxis for us but their rates were double or triple what we paid when we arranged our own through Florence cars. For example the hotel
Said a car could get us from florence train station and bring us for around 400 euros (45 min drive), so instead we took a taxi from the station for 160. While we were there there are very few cars so we used hotel transfers which were around 200 to bring us to Radda. Btw what a cute town 30 mins drive so I highly recommend that trip! Also the restaurant food was very expensive which we don’t mind if worth it, but the lunch restaurant didn’t have as good food as the dinner restaurant. But breakfasts were included and delicious!

A beautiful resort in a gorgeous and peaceful landscape. Completely quiet. Very clean room, comfortable beds, enough places to put towels and bath robes. Greatly equipped spa with a wonderful massage.
The hotel definitely does not have a 5* level.
Everything is overpriced (a few examples: 22 eur for caprese with nothing but one tomato and three small pieces of mozza, 15 eur for a glass of prosecco at the pool bar, 5 eur for 0,5 l water in room bar, which is normally offered for free at even 4* hotels). We ate and drank cheaper and much better in very good restaurants and hotels in the center of Venice or Florence. We would accept that if the food and the service were worth it, but they absolutely weren’t. A beef tartar with dill, caviar and pesto is an example of disgusting flavor. For breakfast, there is only cold offer (which was tasty and of good quality), but if you want an omelet or so, you have to pay extra, and nobody bothers to offer it to you.
The staff at the pool bar and restaurant is half asleep, half blind and not professional, they are not even welcoming. The have no idea what they’ re doing. They serve cold red wine and say it’s normal temperature (in Chianti region, my god). They tell you that you “should” have a reservation for dinner. When we wanted to make it, a lady in reception said it is fully booked, so we asked what are we supposed to eat when everything is far away, so they gave us a table and the restaurant was half empty the whole evening. It took us 20 minutes at breakfast to be able to even order a coffee and when it was brought 10 minutes later, it was cold.
It seems like they invested a lot to built the hotel and now they are trying to earn it back asap, but this is not the way.
