I would not come back to this house.
This is a fairly new built. It does have everything. Sort of.
Most importantly, it has two toilets and two showers, even though not most conveniently located.
It’s a pretty bare house with cheap furniture. Dining set is decent. But sofa, beds and beddings weren’t comfortable. A few of us in the group couldn’t get good sleep because of that. We complained to the host after the 1st night, they did send over some “blankets”. But they are more of the size of a throw of very cheap material. So my husband and I each have one. Very awkward. Their futon is also thin and not enough padding/support. I always am a fam of sleeping on tatamis, but not here. We now know good futons are vital for good sleep! We just came from another house in the Nagasaki countryside, we slept well!
And it really lacks essential furniture. Like there was no coffee table, night stands or chairs in rooms. First floor there’s one tatami room, the other three rooms are on the 3rd floor. So it was challenging for our 83 yr old mom. She can’t sleep on tatami because getting up from the floor in the morning would be extremely difficult. Walking up to 3rd floor every day is also too much. So she ended up sleeping on the not-so-comfortable sofa. Also their tatami room can realistically fit 2 futons only. But they claimed 3 people could sleep in there. No way. Futons would have to overlap! Not ok! They just put the absolute minimum things in the house, not thinking about what people need. Like one lid for pots/pans of different sizes to share. Like there’s one bed in the western room, no other furniture. Everything ends up on the floor or in the suitcase, which is on the floor. Ok, the bed is with one of those shelving headboard with a tiny light, u can technically put your glasses or a glass of water on there, but light is too dark to read by. Overhead is this blazing white neon light, quite uncomfortable.
Driveway is very narrow, which is ok, but they add this short brick edge close to the ground that is not quite noticeable.
