Not as expected

1. The location. There are restaurants nearby, and the property is around 10–15 minutes from hotels and beaches, which makes it convenient for exploring the area. 2. We accidentally left our keys inside the apartment once, and the cleaner came relatively quickly to let us back in.

1. There is absolutely no privacy in the room. The main issue is that the room is on the ground floor, which makes the lack of privacy particularly bad. Make sure you keep the curtains completely closed at all times and don’t let a single ray of sunlight in, because everyone walking past the room can see straight inside. I constantly saw people walking past and couldn’t even get changed comfortably. I had read positive reviews before booking, but now I realised it’s only 7 of them and pictures are IA generated. Room doesn’t look like that at all, I would definitely say that the experience is very different if you are staying in a ground-floor room. The lack of privacy on the ground floor was honestly terrible. 2. We had terrible back pain throughout our stay. The mattress has old springs that you can feel digging into your body. My partner also developed neck pain. By the end of our stay, our backs were in terrible condition. 3. The bathtub has no shower curtain or screen. This means that every time you shower, you end up getting the entire bathroom and toilet area wet. On top of that, the paint on the bathtub was peeling, and everything looked extremely worn and unpleasant. 4. Beyond the lack of privacy, forget about having a relaxing holiday or sleeping in. The room gets daylight from everywhere, and I was waking up at around 7 a.m. because the curtains are semi-transparent and do not block out the light properly. 5. From the moment you arrive, you are given a long list of rules that feels more like a set of prison regulations. When checking out, you are given another list telling you to wash any dishes you use, take out the rubbish, etc., essentially making things easier for them. Yet they do very little to make things easier for you. There is no one present for check-in whatsoever; everything is done virtually, with no personal interaction. You simply feel like a number. 6. The checkout situation was the final straw.
