The Space:

Moonbeam Ranch is a beautifully remodeled, light-filled three-bedroom home. Walk up to the viewing deck for the pool, a hanging bed and expansive desert views, or stay close to the house with the hot tub, sauna, outdoor shower and fire pit. A casita adds a second living room with arcade games, and the large fenced backyard, front porch and west-facing patio give you plenty of outdoor space. The king primary has its own ensuite, and a queen room and a two-bed room for kids or friends share a second bath. It's a good fit for families and groups who want plenty to do at home. Save the west patio for sunset.

Walk up to the viewing deck to swim in the pool or lounge on the hanging bed, with expansive desert views all around. Back at ground level, the hot tub, sauna and outdoor shower make a full circuit, and the fire pit and outdoor dining table are set for evenings outside. An outdoor bar with a cooler keeps drinks close. The spacious front porch has mountain views for sunrise coffee or stargazing, a private west-facing patio sits off the kitchen and laundry area, and the large fenced backyard has room to relax and play.



-Living Area-

The home is beautifully remodeled and light-filled. The casita adds an extra living room with a couch and arcade games, a good place for kids or a second hangout space.



-Kitchen and Dining-

The fully stocked kitchen has a refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, coffee maker and all the basics, including pots, pans, plates, cups and utensils. Take meals outside to the outdoor dining table or the west-facing patio off the kitchen.



-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

The primary bedroom has a king bed, views of the nearby mountain and boulders, and an ensuite bathroom with a double sink and a standing shower.

The queen bedroom looks out over the backyard and the sunset skies, with a walk-in closet and the shared bathroom just outside the door.

The third bedroom has two beds, mountain views and a closet, a good fit for kids or friends.



-Surrounding Area-

Downtown Joshua Tree and Joshua Tree Village have shops, cafés and galleries, and Joshua Tree National Park is there for the days. Pappy and Harriet's in Pioneertown and Palm Springs make good outings. Watch the sunrise over Coyote Hole Canyon before heading into the park.

The entire house and property are yours to enjoy! Please note that a few supply closets stay locked to store rental supplies.

Moonbeam Ranch is a short drive from Joshua Tree Village and the national park, with views toward Coyote Hole Canyon and the nearby mountains.

Getting Around:

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.



Parking: an oversized two-car garage, ample driveway parking and an RV parking spot with an electrical hookup for guests traveling with their own rig.



Other Things to Note:

-Hot Tub and Pool Care-

Please shower before and after using the hot tub and pool, and rinse off oils and lotions before entering. No pets of any kind in the hot tub or pool, and no alcohol near the water. Please heat the hot tub with the cover on, keep the covers on and secured after use and do not stand or sit on them. Children must be supervised at all times. If the hot tub or pool is left in poor condition, an additional cleaning fee may be charged.



-Starter Supplies-

We provide starter items, including towels, shampoo and conditioner, hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee and trash can liners. We recommend bringing additional supplies for longer stays.



-House-Specific Rules-

► There is ample driveway parking for multiple vehicles, plus an oversized two-car garage and an RV parking spot.



-Pool Heating Fee-

Should you wish to have the pool heated to 85 degrees, please notify us in advance of your arrival, as there will be a supplemental charge per day for this service due to high fuel costs in this area. If you'd like the pool heated for multiple days, we ask that days be consecutive to conserve energy, thank you! Pool heating is not usually necessary May through September. Please note that we will need at least 24 hours' notice to heat the pool.



Pool heating is available for an additional fee. Please message us for the current rate before requesting.



During the winter months, please be aware that colder outdoor temperatures may cause the pool to feel cooler than its maintained temperature of 85°F. We kindly ask that you ensure this temperature meets your comfort level before submitting a request, as refunds cannot be issued on this basis.



-Pool and Hot Tub Service-

The pool and hot tub are serviced Mondays and Thursdays, approximately between 9am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician's busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard.



-Pet Policy-

We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation how many dogs you are bringing. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed due to the owner's severe allergy.

The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it's important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.



-Security Camera-

For your security, there is a doorbell camera at the front door, which records 24/7 and monitors vehicles and occupancy. There are no cameras inside the home or facing any private areas, including the pool and hot tub areas.



-Cell Service-

Cell phone coverage in the area may be limited or unavailable depending on your carrier. Wi-Fi is available at the property.



-Damage Waiver Policy-

Each reservation requires either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver.
