The Space:

The Vault is a new-construction modern home with mountain views and high-end finishes throughout. Its concrete construction gives the house a grounded, quiet feel, while an indoor skylight and walls of glass pull the desert light inside. The open layout runs from the kitchen through the dining room, where sliding doors open with a clear view to the pool. A king primary tucked away for privacy, a second king bedroom and a bunk room for kids share two bathrooms with walk-in showers, plus a half bath off the dining room, which suits couples, families or small groups who want an easy indoor-outdoor stay. Leave the doors open and let the afternoon come inside.

-Outdoor Amenities-

Step through the dining room sliders and the pool is right there, lined with loungers and set against the mountains. The above-ground hot tub is kept heated for soaking at any hour, and the fire pit is the natural place to gather once the sun goes down. A BBQ grill makes it easy to cook outside, and there is plenty of room to lounge in the sun during the day. Evenings bring big desert skies and, on clear nights, a sky full of stars.



-Living Area-

The home is open concept, with the living room, dining room and kitchen sharing one bright space. The TV in the living room can be seen from both the dining room and the kitchen, so whoever is cooking stays part of the conversation. Minimalist design, splashes of color and the overhead skylight keep the rooms light and calm, and the sliders put the pool in view from the dining table.



-Kitchen and Dining-

The fully equipped kitchen has what you need for everything from quick breakfasts to full dinners, and it opens directly to the dining area. The dining room looks straight through the sliders to the pool, so meals come with a view. For dinner outside, fire up the BBQ grill and eat by the pool as the evening cools.



-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

The primary bedroom is on the far right side of the home, off the dining area and tucked away for privacy. It has a king bed, built-in headboards, minimalist design and splashes of color. The bunk room has a low bunk bed and playful design touches, and it is a natural fit for kids. The second king bedroom sits to the far left of the home, to the left of the front door.

The two bedroom bathrooms have walk-in showers, and the bunk room and the second king bedroom share one of them. A half bath off the dining room makes it easy to rinse off after the pool or wash up before dinner. High-end towels, shampoo and conditioner are provided.



-Surrounding Area-

Downtown Joshua Tree has cafés, galleries and shops, and Joshua Tree National Park opens onto hiking, climbing and scenic drives among the Joshua trees and boulder fields. Add an evening of live music in Pioneertown or a sound bath at the Integratron. Days are bright and dry, and nights are dark enough for serious stargazing.

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.



Other Things to Note:

-House-Specific Rules-

► Please keep music at a reasonable volume and turn it off by the start of quiet hours.

► Please rinse off before and after using the hot tub, and keep the lid on when it is not in use to keep out dirt and hold the heat. Absolutely no glass by any water. Please avoid using the hot tub right after it has been serviced, as chemical levels are higher than usual for a short time.



-Pool Heating-

Pool heating is not available at this property.



-Pool and Hot Tub Service-

The pool and hot tub are serviced Mondays and Thursdays, approximately between 9am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician's busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard.



-Pet Policy-

We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation how many dogs you are bringing. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed due to the owner's severe allergy.

-Wildlife & Safety-

The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it's important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.

For your security, there are exterior cameras on the property, which monitor vehicles and occupancy. There are no cameras inside the home or facing any private areas, including the pool and hot tub areas.

Cell phone coverage in the area may be limited or unavailable depending on your carrier. Wi-Fi is available at the property.



-Damage Waiver Policy-

Each reservation requires either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver.
