It’s a quiet, spacious and bright (!!!) place in the middle of a crowded area. It’s perfect to come home to to relax after a day of exploring the city and to leave the bustling city outside. You can relax your eyes, your ears, your head and pretend outside doesn’t exist.
After recharging, outside the door you go and you are in the middle of beautifully lit streets with restaurants and outside seating to enjoy dinner and drinks. The ocean is also close and all public transport, too. Minimarkets, souvenir shops and excellent restaurants all within 2min walk. And you can catch a Fado concert in the sqme street at Fado&Fado if you just want to focus on the music.
If you are noise sensitive to your upstairs neighbors, then maybe you should not look for a charming and beautiful apartment with high ceilings because you cqn hear the footsteps of your upstairs neighbors. But that’a normal for these types of buildings and we did not mind that so much.
