I didn’t actually stay at this hotel, so I can’t comment on the room. However, the staff were really nice and helpful. When we found out we couldn’t stay, they gave us WiFi so we could book another hotel since we didn’t have a SIM or internet yet. They also didn’t charge us anything, which I really appreciated. The location was also great, especially being very close to the hospitals.
Before flying to India, I messaged the property twice on Booking.com asking about the C Form, but I only received automated replies. Nothing was clearly disclosed about foreigners not being allowed to stay. After we arrived, they told us the property was only for Indian guests and that foreigners couldn’t stay there. The biggest issue was the lack of communication, because this should have been made clear before arrival. I later realized that this type of hotel seems to cater mostly to local guests and couples, but as a foreigner, I simply wasn’t aware of that beforehand.
